In this Regional Sales Manager role, you will build and execute sales business strategies to drive sales performance and achieve market share goals for all indications of a key Rheumatology product regionally. Cultivating enduring professional relationships, you will develop a deep understanding of the Dermatology and Rheumatology markets; applying insights to create new business opportunities and identify new sales channels.
This role will lead and motivate a specialty field force of 8+, setting and achieving sales targets with them and supporting them to execute territory plans, allocating resources as required. This role also:
- Leads the execution of current product strategies for Cosentyx and implements new business development and change initiatives in the region
- Contributes to the creation of the Cosentyx marketing strategy and plans
- Coordinates cross-functionally to ensure business strategies are consistently executed, working with Marketing, Medical, Key Account Managers and Marketing Sales Operations teams to achieve results.
- Provides inspirational leadership and coaching to 8+ direct reports and creates a culture of integrity, high performance, and continuous learning and development
- Ensures the sale team have all the product knowledge required to improve customer relationships, enable HCPs to effectively treat patients, and achieve sales goals.
This role could be based in either NSW or VIC
About You:
You’ll bring solid specialty sales experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, in both a GP and Hospital environment. You’re a natural leader who enjoys coaching and mentoring other sales staff. With previous experience developing and executing business plans, you bring a strategic eye and commercial acumen to this regional role. You will also have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Life Sciences, Medicine, or similar
- Dermatology or Rheumatology experience is an advantage
- Medicines Australia Code of Conduct accreditation
- Proven ability to understand technical, scientific and medical information
