About the Role

Southern Cross Care is currently looking for reliable Care Workers to join our Perth metropolitan relief pool team on a casual basis with an opportunity to be considered for part-time position upon completion of your probation. 

The key functions of the role will involve assisting residents with daily living activities which will include domestic, social and communal needs. You will contribute to the creation of a home-like environment and work towards continuous improvement and quality in all areas of care and service.

To be successful for this role, you will need: 

To be considered for this role, applicants must be passionate about providing excellent care and service to all our residents and have the ability to work productively within a team environment. Previous experience in safe medication administration and demonstrated competency is essential. Applicants with a Certificate III in Aged Care and previous industry experience in a similar role will be highly regarded. 

The ideal candidate joining our relief pool team will be flexible and available to work across our 7 metropolitan sites – Rockingham, Success, Forrestfield, Rossmoyne, Shelley, West Leederville and East Fremantle. You will need to be flexible and available minimum 5 days per week, 8 hours per day.
