The Patient Transfer Service (PTS) at St John Ambulance (W.A.) offers a varied service, with specialised staff that place an emphasis on customer care and service. The Opportunity
We currently have opportunities available in our Country Ambulance Service to join the team as a Casual Patient Transport Officer in Narrogin. As a Patient Transport Officer (PTO) you will be required to provide routine care and transportation for non-emergency patients to and from healthcare facilities, clinics and private residences.
The experience required:
- Hold an unrestricted ‘C’ or ‘CA’ driver’s license with no more than 6 demerit points
- Have completed Provide First Aid HLTAID003 within the last 12 months
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated experience in providing excellent patient care
- Display exceptional customer service
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Uphold St John Ambulance values, policies, systems and procedures
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work across both internal and external stakeholders
