About the Role
The Director of Anaesthetics is the senior professional medical officer for Anaesthetics in the Hospital and Health Service and is responsible for ensuring the highest professional and ethical standards are observed by all medical staff employed to provide medical services in Anaesthetics. The Redland Hospital has an active obstetric service, expanded surgical and ambulatory services and Paediatric patients from 12 upwards.
The position will be required to provide clinical supervision and support, as appropriate, to Senior Medical Officers, Registrars, Principal House Officers, Interns and Medical Students working within the Redland Hospital.
