About the role
- The Engineer provides technical, consultative support and expert advice in the performance of projects and activities related to civil construction and maintenance programs in line with Council goals.
- The Salary Range for this position is $81,461.66 - $86,897.60 gross per annum plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.4% superannuation.
- This is a permanent position located in Crows Nest.
How to be successful in this position - Success Criteria
- The mandatory qualifications and licences as outlined in the "Success Criteria" of the Position Description.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake projects within established civil construction and maintenance programs as well as providing reports on the progress of project activities and cost tracking, including recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical advice and support for matters relevant to civil construction and maintenance projects and/or programs.
- Demonstrated ability to implement, monitor and evaluate projects in accordance with group/corporate goals.
- Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service and ability to liaise and effectively negotiate with both internal and external customers.
- Understanding of and commitment to Council's Values and Behaviour of Collaboration and Teamwork.
