The role:  
Utilising your extensive ICT project management experience, you will be responsible for delivering ICT infrastructure projects ensuring that project outcomes align with customer needs and comply with quality standards and Queensland Health's guidelines, strategies and project management approach. 

You will provide advice and strategic input to project deliverables, managing projects by monitoring and reporting on project related trends and performance against project plans and budgets as well as monitoring resources, expenses and capital costs. To inform decision making you will develop written submissions, briefs, presentations and information papers for project stakeholders. Additionally, you will manage capability and develop resources by leading and mentoring a multidisciplinary project team. It is essential that the Principal Project Manager initiates and maintains effective working relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders to ensure high quality project outcomes are achieved.

Are you right for this role?
To be successful in this role you will have experience leading the design of large scale, complex IM/ICT projects, with demonstrated leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.  You will have the ability and confidence to lead a multi-disciplinary team of experts to work collaboratively, achieve results and apply best practice project management techniques, tools and methodologies, preferably PRINCE2. Imperative to your success in this role will be excellent interpersonal skills as you will be required to negotiate, consult, and motivate stakeholders and colleagues to achieve desired results and drive a cohesive environment. You will have proven analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills as well as experience in stakeholder relationship management to support effective business change.

About Infrastructure Technology Solutions (eHITS) - eHealth Queensland:
eHealth Queensland is one of the largest Information Communication Technology operations in the state. It is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of information systems and technologies so that Queensland Health employees and health providers have access to information that supports the delivery of health care.

The eHITS team manage the replacement of Queensland Health's foundational ICT infrastructure and work collaboratively with Queensland Health's Hospital and Health Services (HHSs) and agencies to plan, design and deliver new (Greenfield) and upgraded (Brownfield) ICT infrastructure that meets future health service requirements and provides value for money.
