You will provide a range of home support services to clients and carers in the Kangaroo Island community, including direct health and rehabilitation care. The Optimal Ageing Program provides short-term care that seeks to optimise the functioning and independence of older people. It is goal-oriented, time-limited and therapy-focused. You will have prior experience working in a health related industry. You will have an awareness of the Home Care Programs, and the ability to work reliably in the community without direct supervision whilst demonstrating initiative and motivation. A team player and a good communicator, you will bring the ability to support and work effectively and sensitively with frail persons from diverse value systems, cultural backgrounds, age range or with special needs.
