An opportunity exists for a Biomedical trained Technician with an acceptable level of experience to become part of our Biomedical Engineering team and join an expanding regional health network. The expanding Hunter New England Health Technologies base has created an opportunity for an innovative and self-motivated individual to become part of this team.
 
You will supervise a specialised team to maintain medical equipment across HNE Health by providing repair, testing and preventative maintenance services, whilst providing electronic expertise to other team members. You will schedule work and ensure all services are documented, as well as providing assistance to clinical staff via in-service training.
 
You will belong to one of four Biomedical Teams within Clinical Technology covering specific areas of the district.  Clinical technology has a total compliment of 22 staff in total, consisting of 2 senior managers, administration support and 18 technical staff.
The position is based at Tamworth Hospital.
