Our client is looking for a Bushfire Field Officer to undertake work associated with the conservation and maintenance of Council’s Natural Environment and Bushland, in particular Council’s bushfire management program and Council’s walking track and fire trail maintenance program. You will also be required to participate in hazard reduction burning activities.

This role is about clearing vegetation on fire breaks at the rear of private properties, and if qualified participating in burning operations. This role is an awesome opportunity for someone who volunteers with the Rural Fire Service.

Must have;

Chainsaw certificate
Experience using brush cutters
White card Essential

Desirable;

MR drivers licence
Rural Fire Service crew member firefighting competency
