About the role

 

Provide high-quality executive and administrative support to the Information Commissioner/IPC CEO, and the Privacy Commissioner.


Provide transactional human resource support services to the IPC in the context of the provision of strategic HR services via a shared Corporate Services provider.

About you


We are looking for an outstanding individual to join the team at IPC to support the Information and Privacy Commissioners in their statutory functions by providing timely, comprehensive support within a collaborative environment.


Some of the challenges you will face will require a person who is:


·           Proactive and issues/reactive based, ensuring that both Commissioners and Managers are able to work in the most efficient and strategic manner.

·           Remains flexible and capable to change direction and priorities quickly and with little warning to meet shifting requirements and high workload demands, whilst exercising initiative and sound judgement in addressing the diverse range of matters and work demands to support both the Information Commissioner/CEO and the Privacy Commissioner.

·           Ensures sensitivity and confidentiality with matters dealt with by the Commissioners and CEO, including sensitive HR matters, requiring balance, perception, composure and prudence at all times.

·           Maintains current knowledge of IPC?s programs and key compliance obligations relating Human Resources (HR) and HR IT systems to ensure to effectively support the IPC?s operations.
