About the Role:
C&K Middlemount Community Preschooling Centre currently have a Trainee Assistant opportunity available. This position will require the suitable applicant to commit to an Assistant position working with all age groups for 12 months, whilst completing their Certificate III in Early Childhood and Education through C&K College.
As the assistant, you will be responsible for implementing a quality care and education program for young children. Your duties will include assisting the implementation of C&K's Building Waterfalls and the documentation that supports this to ensure that it makes each child's learning visible through portfolios, engages in reflective practice, undertakes assessment to enrich children's learning and creates collaborative partnerships.
This position is a full time role, working 40 hours per week (with a monthly RDO) and will be contracted for 12 months for the duration of studying the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education Care. You will be required to work rotating shifts.

Ideal Candidates will have:
- Prior experience within early childhood education would advantageous
- Ability to commit to and complete a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and care through the C&K College
- Ability to work as an effective team member
