Port Stephens Council is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a passion for asset management to join our Civil Assets Unit.
As Civil Assets Engineer, you will be responsible for leading strategic asset planning and asset management for Council's civil assets, which include drainage, transport, roads, pathways, and bridges.
What you need:
- Demonstrated commitment to Australian Business Excellence principles.
- Demonstrated commitment to a customer service culture and delivery of quality service.
- Proven ability to communicate positively to customers, stakeholders, and community groups.
- High level of interpersonal skills including negotiation, problem solving and conflict resolution to enable effective liaison with people at all levels.
- Degree qualifications in Civil Engineering or equivalent, combined with extensive experience in a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of road pavements.
- Competence in creation, editing, and manipulation of databases and pavement management systems.
- Current Driver’s license.
TRP Range: $96,800 - $122,636 pa (includes 9.5% superannuation + retention allowance + vehicle allowance) + RDO
