This is a full time, fixed term position at the VPS4 level based in Glen Waverley, Melbourne.

This position will work collaboratively across other QARD regional areas. This position will involve travel which may include overnight stays.

Duties:

• Conducting assessment and rating visits, compliance visits, and investigations as part of the core functions of the regulatory authority, performed in adherence with the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010 and Victorian Children's Services Act 1996.

• Provision of regulatory advice and guidance.

• Effective management of relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Other regulatory activities as defined in the role position description.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications in early childhood teaching, primary teaching, or human welfare studies, behavioural studies or similar.

• Working knowledge of education and care service delivery including an understanding of quality in early childhood education and care.

• Successful applicants will be required to hold a valid Victorian Working with Children's Check or Victorian Institute of Teaching registration upon commencement.
