About the role

The Manager, Program Delivery (Rail Crossing Safety Communications Strategy) is responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation plan for communications, education and awareness initiatives being undertaken by the Rail Crossing Safety Awareness Group (RCSAG). Reporting to the Head of Media and Communications, the role develops a detailed, activity-based timeline and delivery plan for initiatives within the Rail Crossing Safety Awareness Group's strategy to support the draft Rail Crossing Safety Strategy, which is an output of the Victorian Railway Crossing Safety Steering Committee.

The role ensures that budget, scope and accountabilities for the communications initiatives are clearly defined and programmed to deliver high quality outcomes on time and to budget.  This requires effective liaison and collaboration with a range of industry stakeholders, including rail operators and Government agencies, leading cross-industry working groups and diligent management of third party vendors.
