Kingston Active are currently seeking applications for the position of Operations Coordinator, working across Council’s two sites being Waves and Don Tatnell Leisure Centre’s.
As part of the senior leadership team at Kingston Active, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, development and coordination of the Operations Department.
Your portfolio will include facility operations such as; Plant and Building Maintenance and Replacement, Facility Cleaning, Contractor Management, OHS and coordination of the Duty Supervisor and Lifeguard teams. Based across two sites, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment, development and rostering of a large team of full time, part time and casual staff.
Key to your success will be:
- Experience in the operations department of a similar facility
- Proven ability to manage contracts
- Strong understanding of the planning and budgeting process
- Exceptional customer service and problem solving skills
- Experience in leading a team of staff
- Highly developed communication skills
In addition, the minimum qualification requirements for this position are:
- Pool Operators Certificate
- Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- Level 2 First Aid, Defibrillator and CPR Certificates
- Current Drivers Licence
- Police Check
- Working with Children’s Check.
The role also requires early morning, evening and weekend work as required, as well as on-call duties.
