Your new company
Your new employer is a national, mid-tier civil contractor that works across Transport Infrastructure, Water, Mining, Oil & Gas, Urban Land Development and Power sectors. They have a strong reputation in the construction market. With a diverse range of infrastructure project types they deliver excellence in quality to their client. Having secured a significant amount of infrastructure projects in Victoria’s regional West, they are now seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join their construction team.
Your new role
You will:
- Assess, interpret and maintain construction plans and technical drawings
- Assist with procurement of subcontractors and materials
- Provide support to site staff responding to RFI’s
- Assist with processing variations and progress claims; and provide administrative support to the Project Manager.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and ideally possess at least 5 years Site/Project Engineering experience with a civil contractor. You will also possess effective communication skills, ability to work to deadlines, and adapt to changing situations and environments. Solid computer skills are a must.
