We are in need of a committed employee who is keen to develop a long-term, rewarding career in (Level 3) Electrical Design. We are seeking to employ (full-time) an experienced, efficient CAD draftsperson who is willing to learn Level 3 contestable design. Initial training will be provided to develop your existing, excellent CAD drafting skills to produce electrical reticulation and substation design, compliant with the relevant standards. Further training will be provided to give you the skills to design from initial site inspection through to certification. Applicants in possession of an Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering degree, once suitably trained, will be promoted to Level 3 designer.
To be successful in this role you will;
- Possess excellent CAD skills and be able to work efficiently and unsupervised
- Be experienced in or willing to learn the end-to-end delivery on Level 3 electrical engineering design projects.
- Be able to work as part of a team.
- Possess a strong work ethic (be motivated, energetic, innovative and willing to learn).
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to effectively coordinate with other engineers and drafters.
- Possession of Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering degree an advantage but not essential
- Demonstrate attention to detail
- Comply to strict OHS standards
- Hold current NSW drivers licence
