Head of Test and Commissioning

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Test and Commissioning to join our Siemens Mobility team to work on Rail Systems Projects. Based in either our Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney offices,  the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within an area of the Siemens business that has immense market potential. 

The Head of Test and Commissioning (Test and Commissioning Manager) is an expert in Test and Commissioning (T&C) for rail systems projects. 

They lead the effort for the analysis of the rail system projects T&C requirements, development of test cases, planning, estimation, documentation and deliverables, T&C process development and improvement, resourcing, and implementation in consultation with the signalling engineers, and other key stakeholders. Their team will be involved in T&C activities for a number of different projects at any one time in different locations across the region. The T&C Manager will need to manage each of the T&C projects and ensure each is delivered according to planned time, cost and quality delivery targets. 

As needed they will act as the Engineering interface for their areas of responsibility to the Customer, Project and Project Engineering Management, the Bid Group, R&D, Product Line Management, Engineering, technical interface partners, and other key stakeholders as necessary.
