We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to join our projects team in our Canberra Branch.
The Company
Airmaster Australia Pty Ltd are a leading national provider of air-conditioning and building services solutions to commercial building owners, industrial centres and retail outlets.
As one of Australia's leading National Mechanical service organisations Airmaster continues to grow and as a result of this growth we are now seeking to appoint a new project manager to ensure we continue to provide excellent service to our strong customer base as well build on future external opportunities.
The Role
With at least 5 years' experience in design and construct, you will be required to estimate / project manage various installation projects sourced both internally and externally.
You will be co-ordinating materials, sub contractors and employees to suit time lines in ensuring the job remains on schedule and as well as ensuring compliance works with the tender specification, industry best practice, Australian Standards, BCA and local codes.
Key components;
- Assisting project department personal with all aspects of quotations, procurement and delivery of projects
- Project management of various installation projects sourced both internally and externally
- Create solutions to satisfy customer requirements / scope of works
- Day to day management of various projects
- Financial and labour resource control of own projects
- Ability to work to standard Airmaster procedures
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Ability to utilise a CRM system
You role will be pivotal in continuing the growth and success of the projects department as our project managers are a key source to satisfying existing and obtaining new customers. The Successful applicants will possess the right technical abilities, leadership experience as well as the interpersonal skills to create a strong relationship, adding value to the client and their assets and managing contract requirements to ensure everything is delivered as specified.
