About the Role!

We are excited to commence the search for an experienced and highly motivated Electrical and Control Engineer to join our Process Engineering Team based in Guildford, Sydney. Reporting into our Process Engineering Manager and as part of a small, close knit team your expertise will be exercised across multiple NSW worksites. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing consultative customer relationships, and providing astute and creative solutions to customer needs and issues
  • Managing the design, development, manufacture and commissioning of new or improved production equipment and services
  • Supporting our four major business lines across Australia, taking ownership of and developing quality engineering solutions to ensure optimum productivity is achievied and maintained
  • Quantifying, analyzing, and optimizing complex data and converting specific scenarios from a project brief into a mathematical model for analysis or optimization
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders across all levels to coordinate engineering & manufacturing process developments and related activites

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Sound understanding of OHS&E and ISO 9001:2008 requirements to ensure ongoing safety and well-being of our workforce and a passion for championing a culture of zero harm
  • Strong ability to communicate across all levels and translate complex technical information
  • Demonstrated experience in managing capital projects comprising multiple technologies, with particular emphasis on process control solutions
  • Knowledge of LEAN Six sigma tools will be highly regarded
  • An understanding of: PLC programming and installation, Motor Drive installation, SCADA System programming and set up, Safety Systems including Category 4 installations, Electro-mechanical control systems, Electro-pneumatic control system, Electro-hydraulic control systems
  • A formal tertiary qualification, preferably in an Electrical Engineering field
  • Experience in an industrial environment, preferably in the manufacturing, or related service industry
