Mining Technicians Group Australia (MTGA) is an innovative company specialising in implementing and supporting technology and communications products on mobile machinery at minesites and manufacturing network infrastructure.

MTGA are currently seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our small engineering team.  The role will be varied, challenging and require strong design, research, innovative and testing abilities.

This role will require the the successful applicant to: 

• Have professional qualifications in Mechanical Engineering.
• Conduct engineering and patent research as part of our development of innovative products for the mobile technology and solar network infrastructure industry.
• Contribute to the development of newly designed components and prepare detailed drawings and make and analyse with moving models. 
• Be extremely competent in the use of Inventor and have great attention to detail.
• Possess sound analytical and report writing skills.
• Be able to solve problems, and think critically.
• Be comfortable working in a small team and autonomously without need for supervision. 
• Be able to deal directly with senior management on reporting requirements, document writing and work to project and job delivery time line requirements.
• Be willing to travel to client operations and be site-based for short periods. 
• Have a good sense of humour, and life perspective.
