ABOUT THIS ROLE

We currently have an exciting, ongoing opportunity for an experienced Avionics Design Engineer with broad exposure to Rotary Wing aircraft and tertiary qualifications based in Canberra.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, certification and implementation
• Ensure engineering processes and output conform with relevant regulations/standards
• End to end process management from design development through to evaluation, trials, processes and instructions
• Engineering investigation, review and approval in accordance with the Engineering Authority

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED

• Engineering qualifications
• Defence experience in similar role
• Systems Program Office (SPO) experience (essential)
• Familiar with Army Aviation platform engineering processes
• Rotary wing experience

ELEGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS 

• Australian Citizen
• Must hold, as a minimum, an AGSVA Negative Vetting Level 1 Security clearance
