VSL as a member of Bouygues Construction, operates worldwide in a network of some 50 locations, and is a leading specialist in the field of post tensioning, complex precasting, remediation and related construction techniques. VSL Australia is an expert in post-tensioning systems for civil engineering structures and buildings.
VSL Australia is currently recruiting for a Technical Manager within our onsite technical team to be based on a Bridge Construction project on the NSW South Coast. The team will initially be based in Sydney, with an expected move in late 2018 to Batemans Bay.
Technical Manager to manage the technical aspects of the main structure for the Batemans Bay Bridge project, including the coordination of the temporary works design and process implementation. The Technical Manager will lead a team of a Methods Engineer and Draftspersons.
Essential to these positions you will have:
- Recognised degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
- Construction industry experience, preferred
- At least five years’ experience
- Leadership experience
- Strong communication skills
- Sound time management skills
