Senior Structural Revit Modeller

We are currently seeking a Senior Structural Revit Modeller with a strong technical background to provide accurate and efficient design services for the Infrastructure, Property and Traffic Business Unit in accordance with project times and budgets. Reporting to the Manager – CAD and Modelling (WA/NT), you will gain exposure to a wide range of projects and work with a team of professionals based in our Perth office.

Specifically your duties will include:

• Participation in project delivery and ensuring work output is of a high technical standard
• Completion of drawings/designs using Revit
• Completion of drafting documentation in accordance with procedures
• Development of plans, estimates, specifications, calculations and planning layouts
• Preparation of work plans and resource schedules for projects
• Provision of support to Project Managers and guidance/mentoring to junior staff
• Participation in the continued improvement of Cardno Revit standards and procedures

 
To be successful for this role you will possess:

• Advanced Diploma of Engineering (highly regarded though not essential)
• Demonstrated 10+ years within a drafting position
• A minimum of 5 years experience using Revit
• An understanding and knowledge of relevant BIM standards/requirements
• Exposure to a structural consulting environment is desired
• Knowledge in the use of other Autodesk products (highly regarded though not essential)
• Ability to manage your time effectively to ensure commercial deadlines/budgets are met
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders
• A commitment to quality and accuracy
• A desire to take up opportunities within the greater Cardno organisation i.e. interstate and project office work
