The Role
We are seeking a Transport Planner to join our fast growing consultancy who is passionate about planning, engineering and innovation. Your roles will vary through the business assisting in a wide range of projects for both the public and private sector. As a Traffic Engineer / Transport Planner within our team you will:
- Undertake transport studies and provide development advice across a wide range of sectors and projects.
- Provide technical advice to clients and the consultancy team on the requirement and/or design of key project infrastructure.
- Help us to research, identify and implement new technology to change the development processes.
- Identify and implement new business opportunities.
As a Transport Planner with Ason Group you will be given the freedom to influence the way each project is managed and identify ways to change how the industry operates. We are passionate about what we do and work on a range of projects for a variety of clients. We are a young and energetic team able to adapt to new thinking and technology and want similar minded people to join our team.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a motivated individual with drive and passion for transport planning. The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2 years relevant professional experience in Transport Planning, Traffic Engineering or Town Planning.
- Tertiary Qualification in related field, such as engineering or planning.
- An understanding of the development and planning process in NSW.
- A strong technical background in either transport or town planning, preferably with experience in integrated land use and transport planning assessments.
- An understanding of the Australian marketplace.
- Full working rights in Australia.
