Our busy and exciting Melbourne team is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with at least 2-3 years of industry experience to support us on current and upcoming projects.
As part of this role you will be involved in flooding and drainage works for the Water team. This will also include general civil works.

Reporting to the Water Team Leader, this role is a key part of the water team and you will be responsible for the following:
• Flood studies analysis
• Drainage design on a range of civil and transport projects
• Preparation of design/drawings associated with civil projects.
• Assist in Project management when required
• Attendance at design team meetings and coordination with other consultants
• Liaising with and managing client expectations.
• Mentoring Junior Engineers, Designers & Drafters.
• Assist in preparation of fee proposals
• Actively participate in the team in terms of quality checking and verification
To be the right person for this role you will need:
• A Civil Engineering degree
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Experience in Tuflow, DRAINS, 12D, MUSIC, HEC-RAS, RAFTS software
• Technically competent and have previous exposure to a range of civil engineering projects
• Experience working collaboratively in an engineering design team and delivering quality service
• Ability to successfully liaise with clients, sub-consultants and contractors
