What we require
We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic leader to join our Maintenance Team.
As part of this role you will be organising and implementing the Maintenance Program -your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Organise and implement the Preventative Maintenance Schedule
- Organise and implement Scheduled General Machine Maintenance
- Organise and implement Scheduled Machine Servicing
- Respond to machinery breakdowns throughout production time and repair quickly ensuring minimal downtime
- Organise and assist with carrying out all site projects including the installation of new equipment and building improvements
- Liaise and negotiate prices for external services and all parts necessary for repair and maintenance of the plant
- Keep all Maintenance Program Records and spreadsheets in order and up to date for accounting and auditing purposes
- Attend Management Meetings on behalf of the Maintenance Department
- Liaise with Operations Manager for scheduling purposes in the factory
- Comply and support all Workplace Health & Safety procedures
- Focus on continual improvement with preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance with in the program
- Outside normal work hours will be required for some repairs and maintenance due to working around production hours
What we are looking for
- Qualified Maintenance Fitter Technician
- Welding Fabricator
- Restricted Electrical Licence desirable
- Must be experienced within a manufacturing or industrial work environment
- Reliable and ability to work unsupervised and maintain a high level of self-motivation
- Strong fault finding skills
- Flexibility and ability to adapt in high pressure situation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide a high standard of service
- A high level of attention to detail and willingness to work as part of a team
- Experience in food industry
- Must be physically fit and healthy
- Skills with computers in Excel Spreadsheets, word and outlook
