- Manufacturer and installer of custom steel & aluminium
- 1 day a week position- $30 per hour
- Take full ownership of this position
This established business specialises in the manufacture and installation of custom steel, wrought iron, aluminium products for home owners, architects and the building industry. Due to growth they now seek an experienced CAD Operator to reproduce onsite dimensions to shop drawings.
This position will only be one day per week. Initially the position will require you to go to the Craigieburn office to familiarise yourself with the needs of the business. Once systems are in place the position will allow you to work from the comfort of your own home and around your schedule. Flexibility is the key to this position as long as the CAD drawings are completed within reasonable turnaround and within the business’s needs.
This position requires you to take ownership and the ideal candidate will have:
- Experience using AutoCAD, 3D modelling will be advantageous
- Good mathematical skills
- Excellent English speaking and comprehension skills
- The ability to liaise with clients in a professional manner
- The ability to finish allocated tasks on time and efficiently
- Must be able to follow instructions
- Strong Work Ethic
- Job/task ownership. Taking a job on from start to finish
