An opportunity has presented itself for an experienced Principal Level Rail Engineer to join a market leading consultancy. With an international network of offices, this position gives you the opportunity to work on large-scale infrastructure projects based both in Melbourne and overseas.
  
Based in a modern CBD office, you will work alongside experienced engineers in a well established rail group.

The Role

Your scope of work will range from projects involving feasibility studies, tender designs, problem oriented projects, detailed design and construction support. As part of a multi-disciplinary organisation, this role will see you collaborating with other disciplines associated with delivery of rail projects, giving you wider exposure and understanding across small, medium and large-scale projects.

Experience with Bentley Rail Track and Microstation, as well bid and technical report writing skills will be advantageous

The Chosen Candidate

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering;
• CPEng (or equivalent) – highly advantageous.
• 10+ years’ relevant, professional experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Knowledge of railway planning and design.
• Strong background in the Australian Market

While the estimated salary for the role is approximately $100,000 to $120,000, there is flexibility and each application will be treated individually.
