About the role
We have an opportunity for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Melbourne based team.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing technical advice on varied geotechnical issues to clients and internal staff;
- Establishing client relationships and building business, as well as preparation of fee estimates;
- Using advanced techniques, modifications and extension of theories and practices to synthesise and analyse data for decision making/ recommendations;
- Managing, analysing and geotechnical reporting for projects
Skills and experience
You will be a highly motivated and trustworthy team member, who approaches your work with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Tertiary qualification in civil engineering
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng)
- Registered Building Practitioner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong client relationship skills
- Extensive fieldwork experience in varied geological conditions
- 8 + years consulting experience in Melbourne
