Who We Are:
This National Civil Contractor is an award winning business building a wide range of civil infrastructure projects around Victoria.
We currently have numerous projects that require talented Project Engineers who want to step into a Project Manager immediately upon appointment.
We are currently undertaking: road upgrades, roundabouts, curb and channel, bulk earthworks, asphalt, piling, civil commercial infrastructure, concrete structures, bridges, drainage, storm water, sewer and subdivision projects all across Victoria and heavily in the Metropolitan Melbourne area.
Your Role:
You will be placed within an existing team under a Construction Manager who will help your smooth transition to a Project Manager role with your very own portfolio of projects right from the get-go.
You will liaise directly with suppliers, VIC Roads and multiple Clients building and fostering relationships in the market that are required from a Project Manager to continue furnishing your career. After a few months when you learn the ropes, a junior engineer will be placed underneath you and your Construction Manager for extra support to help assist your efforts and provide you with the opportunity to gain mentoring experience.
This role reports directly to the Construction Manager and you will sit in at first and then have direct input on all future hires and direction that your office team and site crews will take in terms of helping shape the culture and expertise of your staff into a well oiled machine that reflects YOU.
This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Construction and experience building civil infrastructure projects.
