Our client is a well known and brand in the industry and has successfully completed projects within the resources industries on a national and international basis. With an increased workload in their WA office they are seeking to employ a Intermediate or Senior Cost Engineer with the following skills and experience to start immediately on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:

• Assists with the monthly cost forecasting for portfolio and review the costs forecasts with the project team
• Monitors commitments and expenditures against approved budget. -Assists with the portfolio and project detail monthly cost reports using the cost system Collates information from the project teams for the monthly cost reports
• Maintains and issues change in the cost system 
• Reviews contractor’s weekly field labour summary and subcontracts status report

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in cost management, cost engineering or cost controller roles, with a proven track record of implementing cost management practices Experience in a project portfolio team, delivering a large number of small/medium projects highly desirable
• Track record of delivery of strong business results, with complex and competing priorities
• Oil & Gas experience is desirable
