We are currently seeking applications for an Electrical *Reliability Engineer *to join our Business Asset Management Team located in the Burdekin Region at Pioneer Mill.
The Reliability Engineer will support the Asset Management team in its objective to deliver improvements in plant electrical reliability and optimisation through effective maintenance strategies and capital project initiatives. These improvements will ensure that the Factory assets and resources are capable of meeting the defined business requirements.
Job Description
The main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Work closely with the Asset management Strategy and Project teams to develop mid to long term electrical reliability and capital plans, goals, and financial objectives in the area of responsibility.
- Ensure business processes associated with capital works and plant reliability projects are completed effectively to meet internal, corporate and business objectives.
- Identifying opportunities for improving the systems and processes framework used for current and future production operations and asset management.
- Support the development of Business Standards and associated intelligence through participation in business wide Best Practice Forums.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant business codes of conduct, statutory acts and regulations.
- Communicating and ensuring compliance with Wilmar policies and values
Experience Required
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold tertiary qualifications in an Electrical Engineering discipline
- Have demonstrated practical experience in a process industry environment
- Be proficient in the use of SAP or other CMSS
- Be proficient in computer systems and common software and the MS Office Suite
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement and safety
- Possess high level oral and written communication skills
