Electrical Switchboard Technician
Fuji SMBE Electric are a leading manufacturer of electrical switchboards in NSW with offices in Lane Cove and Wetherill Park. We are seeking an electrical person to join our expanding projects team at Wetherill Park.
It would be beneficial for the successful applicant to have previous experience in electrical switchboards, however applicants with a sound electrical knowledge will be in house trained.
Applicants with Trade or Tertiary backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Hands on practical training in the design, manufacture & testing of the switchboards will be undertaken as part of the in house training.
The role will be challenging & broad with a variety of different responsibilities such as: -
*Testing of Switchboards to Australian Standards using our accredited QA system
*Hands on manufacturing when required
*Purchasing of switchboard components
*Consultation with the manufacturing team on design improvements
The applicant must have excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a highly motivated team. The applicant should be confident with Microsoft excel and although not essential, it would be favourable to have had previous experience using AutoCAD.
