To support our mission we are currently seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to join our team in Brisbane for a 12 month contract.
What does this role involve?
- You will be involved in the control systems design of mineral processing plants and associated infrastructure. This could include coal, base and precious metals plants as well as iron ore plants and associated services.
- You will be required to liaise with internal and external clients, other discipline professionals, and stakeholders within the industry to ensure the timely, accurate and cost effective delivery of projects.
- Working in a highly experienced team you will be exposed to a continuous succession of small and large, domestic and international projects as they progress through the project lifecycle from early concept development, detailed design, construction, commissioning and operations.
To be successful in this role you will be engineering degree qualified and have at least 5 years Control Systems Engineering experience in the minerals processing sector. You will have experience with specifying, implementing and commissioning PLC systems (Schneider, Siemens or Rockwell) and SCADA (Citect or Rockwell). Experience in design and configuration of associated control system networks will be highly regarded.
