We currently have a fulltime opportunity for a Graduate Drafter to join the Engineering Design group based in our St. Leonards office. As an integral member of the Design team, you will work with and mentored by certified professionals and support a broad spectrum of professional consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Working under instruction to complete designs as required
- Completing work within standards of time, cost and quality
- Working within Australian Standards and established industry practices
- Working with other staff in the team to coordinate related activities
- Assisting in all phases of the production of drawings, including plotting, printing and collating
- Drawing and model files saved correctly
- Work is completed in collaborative, proactive and constructive manner and assistance is sought when required
Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associated Degree
- Competent in the use of AutoCAD with experience in Civil 3D desirable
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to self-manage and priorities own workload
- Ability to apply new knowledge
- Ability to interpret and carry out instructions
- Ability to use basic theoretical knowledge of drafting principles and interpret information
