Program Manager - 12 month Contract

A fantastic long term contract opportunity for a Program Manager to work across the Infrastructure line of business across all levels and divisions as well as reporting line arrangements.  
 
In this role you will display good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programs, including risk management to lead and successfully deliver program outcomes ensuring program benefits are within scope, time, resource, quality and budget constraints.
 
 
You will need to demonstrate the following skills:

• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with other members of the program management team, senior managers, project teams and third-party service providers
• Ability to influence, negotiate, demonstrate an understanding of the needs of various parts of the business and to work effectively with cross-business stakeholders
• Demonstrated leadership, management and influencing skills at a senior level
• Demonstrated ability to manage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders

Pre-requisites for this position: 

• 3+ years in a senior program management role related to building and renewing infrastructure assets, or similar
• Strong experience in program reporting and analysis to identify trends and issues for remediation
• Strong experience in resolving issues in a complex business environment involving multiple stakeholders
• Extensive experience in managing large program and project budgets
• Comprehensive understanding of best practice project and program management methodologies with demonstrated implementation experience
• Experience in change management or transformation activities 

 
The following is desired, but not essential:

• Experience in change management or transformation activities
• Experience working in a large utility in a regulated environment
• Working knowledge of SAP and Primavera (or equivalent ERP and PMS experience)
