The Role
Due to upcoming projects, we are seeking an experienced Civil Designer to join our friendly team. Based in our Perth Office, the Civil Designer will be responsible for the drafting of drawings as well as computer aided design of projects and project elements (largely earthworks related).
Reporting to the Drafting Supervisor, you will also take projects from conceptual design through to refined 3D CAD models and then to the production of detailed design drawings. Details drawings may include structures, installations, and construction projects (e.g. roadways, environmental control structures, tailings/water dams, etc).
Our Ideal Candidate
You will be highly service oriented and proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft products. Our ideal candidate will also have worked at least 5 years in a similar role within the mining/construction industry, and will possess:
- A strong proficiency of 3 Dimensional design/thinking
- Strong attention to detail
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Experience working within a technical consulting environment.
