Project Coordinator

Our client is one of the world's largest natural resources companies with operations in the Hunter Valley region. They have enjoyed the strongest year on record and can attribute this to world class asset management and leadership.
This position reports to the Water and Tailings Manager and will be responsible for coordinating civil, pipeline construction and general supervision of project construction activities, such as poly pipe installations and pump station upgrades.
To be considered for this role you will have had prior experience working within the mining sector and have an understanding of mining systems and standards. You will be able to provide leadership and supervision to contractors on site and to the internal workforce. A demonstrated ability to coordinate planning, labour resources, budgets and progress of works is essential. In addition you will be able to identify and develop business process improvements and show initiative in order to meet deadlines.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications and ideally have an electrical/mechanical trade or engineering background. You will possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable to reside locally.
