Success will be attained by implementing the right infrastructure, therefore we seek an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team to ensure the delivery of a world class shipyard for the Program.
Reporting directly to the Infrastructure Engineering Manager this will be a challenging yet rewarding role that will cover a wide range of duties and responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Liaising with stakeholders to establish functional requirements understanding;
- Producing technical documentation in response to design requests;
- Ensuring compliance to requirements, reviewing & problem solving where necessary;
- Providing design input and verification that design meets operational needs including;
- Fire systems
- HVAC
- Security systems
- Communications networking
- Researching and defining infrastructure plant and equipment specifications;
- Support of construction and commissioning of systems (eg Ventilation & extraction systems)
- Managing industrial distribution systems including:
- Seawater supply
- Compressed air
- Hydraulic oil storage
- DC power supplies
- 3 phase power supplies
- Hazardous materials areas
This role will be based in Adelaide with some international travel requirement.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering discipline;
- 5+ years of industrial design/project services engineering experience;
- Hands on delivery of industrial projects or infrastructure design.
Experience in the use of MS Office suite of applications including MS Project and MS Visio is preferred, along with experience with CAD software packages.
