Mackay Regional Council is currently recruiting for a permanent Technical Officer to join our Technical Services team.
As a Technical Officer - Traffic, you will provide assistance and guidance in the undertaking of Local Area Traffic Management studies, including facilitating public consultation, traffic engineering investigation, collection and analysis of data and the preparation of concept designs.
To be successful in this role, you will have comprehensive knowledge of relevant AustRoads Guides and Standards, experience in investigating traffic related engineering matters, an ability to work independently paired with highly developed skills in negotiation with residents and community groups. Qualifications in Civil Engineering or Technology will be highly regarded.

- Annual salary from $57,809 - $78,399 (dependent on qualifications and experience of successful applicant)
