Conditions:
This is a permanent full time position based in our Perth Head Office.
About the Role:
The primary purpose of this role is to produce distribution electrical standards, technical specifications, tender evaluations and implementation as well as standard drawings and guidelines for design and construction. In collaboration with key stakeholders the candidate will implement constructible solutions that ensure effective on-going management of the asset.
About you:
The successful candidate must:
- Be tertiary qualified with a degree in Electrical Engineering and be eligible for membership of the Institution of Engineers Australia.
- Have knowledge and expertise in engineering standards and regulations related to electrical line design applicable to electricity utility assets. Detailed knowledge of AS/NZS 7000 is desirable.
- Have at least 3 years experience in electrical electricity utility industry related to distribution design and standards.
- Build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers utilising a high level of influencing and communication skills;
- Deliver timely and robust outcomes for the development of standards, specifications and implementation drawings;
- Have knowledge of risk based safety in design concepts.
