As a process Engineer you will provide exceptional support to the clients internal and external customers.
Give support to the sales team within the business so they can meet customer needs.
Understand from a hardware supplier point of view how to set up new technology and troubleshoot the system to stream line integration from a controls systems and a network point of view.

Our client is a multinational supplier of systems from new control systems to Data acquisition to Industrial networking. they have a very high standard and really pride themselves in giving out the right solutions for their customers. The areas of Engineering they work in are Sales, Oil & Gas, Technical Services and Corporate divisions.
Description
The responsibilities will be -
- Experience with Alarm rationalisation - ARA
- Good understanding of SQL database for example setting up own trends and logging features
- Setting up alarm systems on a DCS system and having the understanding of that alarm philosophy and how to reduce the amount of alarms on the system for the operator.
- Experience with process historians
- OPC experience
- Good knowledge of network security and TCP/IP protocol
- Good understanding of troubleshooting
- Solid understanding with process analysis and creating process reports for operations and maintenance
- A good understanding of supplying equipment to customers and setting new equipment up
- A good understanding of Windows OS systems
Profile
The ideal candidate would have:
- A flexible attitude and be a good team player who does not get stressed out and have the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Have the ability to be client liaising and internal liaising in terms of the sales teams giving advice on the products.
