Our client is a well-established builder / developer looking to hire across contract / perm working foremen / supervisors to take hands on approach in delivering luxury / High-rise residential apartments to multi-use commercial projects.

The role:

• Managing direct employees, sub-contractors, suppliers and other site personnel to ensure efficient utilisation to achieve project milestones and principal dates.
• Planning and implementing schedules for site labour, plant, deliveries and equipment.
• Monitoring work against specifications and design documentation to ensure project quality is not compromised.
• Managing OHS compliance on site including site inductions by all parties to minimise the risk of injury and/or property damage.
• Identifying any defects, errors or variations in all aspects of the project and ensuring all applicable quality checklists are completed.
• You will be responsible for the leading deck and the safety of all personnel on site & ensuring regular toolbox meetings are held
• Resolve any problems on site
• The role will initially be on contract basis however, for a right candidate full time opportunity may be available.

The requirements across:

• In-depth construction knowledge.
• Experience running the specialist finishes trades from Wet / Dry - fit out trades incl. Electricians, Plumbers & Painters.
• Must have good Eye for Detail! – Quality & Assurance management.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction with high attention to detail.
• Efficient Management Skills.
• Trade background preferable, Degree qualifications relatable to the industry beneficial.
• Experience managing multi-unit residential to Multi-use Commercial from start until completion
• Sound knowledge of the QLD construction market including unions, sub-contractors etc
• Time management, communication and organisational skills
• A full driving license
