ABOUT THE ROLE
A vacancy exists, for an Excavator Operator/All-Rounder Operator Working predominately on a Caterpillar 320DL, but must be a flexible all-rounder and able to operate a roller/watercart etc as and when required, within a multi disciplined earthmoving contracting company based in Wangara, whom perform bulk and trim earthworks as well as civil works.
Works are Perth Metro based.
JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Operator you will be required to carry out the following:-
- Conduct daily pre-start safety inspections on all machinery.
- Safely operate a wide range of machinery and in a productive manner.
- Record works completed on a daily basis.
- Read and understand plans.
- Follow regulations, safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.
- Work in a team environment whilst building and maintaining a great culture.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience in bulk and trim earthworks, road works and general civil construction works is a requirement, as well as the ability to trim on multiple machines whilst producing a high quality result.
REQUIREMENTS
- Provide 2 x work references;
- Be located in Perth Western Australia;
- Be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen;
- Willingness to partake in regular D&A testing;
- Current Driver's License;
- Excavator Competency Ticket;
- Industry White/Blue Card;
- "Can do" attitude!
