Randstad have been engaged by one of our civil contractor clients who focus on the mining industry here in QLD, with the resurgence of coal we have seen a number of new expansion projects awarded and this client have picked up a number of stages in a recently awarded expansion.
The job will run for about 10 months however the order book is pretty full and permanent employment is on offer due to the amount of work ahead.
Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer your duties will include but not limited to:
- Project planning
- Forecasting, cost control, QA
- Construction resource planning and management
- Monitor construction to ensure regulatory compliance
To be considered for this role you must be able to show the following:
- Degree in civil engineering or equivalent tertiary qualification
- Min 5+ years projects experience
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Experience working on bulk earthworks jobs
- Ability to multitask & manage sites
- Must have strong commercial / financial acumen
