The Role

We are currently seeking a proven Regional Commercial Manager for our Construction business in NSW/ACT. This role will report to the General Manager and be part of the Senior Leadership team for or Eastern Region based in our Alexandria office.

Key accountabilities for this role include:

  • Administration and management of all contracts across the region
  • Commercial review and negotiation of contracts - both head contracts and sub-contracts
  • Preparation and presentation of commercial reports to Senior Management
  • Carrying out commercial audits of projects
  • Management and resolution of claims and disputes
  • Review and implementation of strategies for risk mitigation and management.

To be successful in this position, we are seeking the following skill sets:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce/Accounting/Business or equivalent
  • Strong Legal and contractual acumen
  • Strong people management skills with prior experience multiple projects
  • Prior experience in a Regional Commercial Role within the construction industry
  • Experience on projects in excess of $100 million in scope.
