My Certifier Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated Trainee Building Certifier with exceptional customer service skills. In this role, you will provide timely and effective support directly to the General Building Certifier and Director of My Certifier. The successful applicant will obtain a broad range of experience with development and compliance including assessment, inspections, investigating complaints and providing advice to customers and clients on building related matters.
The successful applicant must be accredited as an A4 Inspector in NSW, or have the qualifications to become accredited as an A4 Inspector. The applicant will be required to continue study to further accreditation.
Essentials:
- Eligible for enrolment in the advanced diploma of Building Surveying
- Previous experience in the construction industry
- Commitment to a career as an Accredited Certifier
- Relevant computer skills
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence & Good Driving Record
- Valid General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Renumeration:
- Salary starting at $50,000 plus Superannuation
- Full time position including holidays

Duties:
- Carry out critical stage inspections on class 1 and 10 Buildings
- Communicate with Builders, Councils, Developers, Property Owners
- Provide BCA and planning advice to customers
- Work supervised and independently
- Assist in assessment of Construction Certificates and Complying Development Certificates
- Prepare reports for assessment by the Certifier
