For SGS, the continuous development of our international teams as well as personal commitment are of central importance. For ongoing projects in the field of industrial installation of large scale projects in Australia we are looking to strengthen our team with:

PROJECT SITE MANAGER / MECHANICAL TECHNICAL SUPERVISOR (m/f)

Fulltime permanent for industrial assembly projects in Australia

The following tasks await you:

·       Full cycle technical and commercial project management of SGS large scale installation projects all over Australia, mainly in the wood panel industry

·       Supervision and management of a team of skilled and specifically trained technicians for SGS projects

·       Provide technical know-how on project site where required

·       Communication and ongoing Project Reporting to Austrian Headquarters

·       Communication with client, suppliers, engineering department, sub contractors and all subsections on site

·       Ensure project time schedules are met throughout

·       Project controlling (finance), contract management, claim management, reporting

·       Compliance with applicable European Regulations (E-Norms)

·       Field Engineering of special air dedusting piping „As-Built Documentation“ of exhaustion system

You bring along for this demanding position:

·       Minimum 5-7 years large scale engineering project management and supervision experience in our field of expertise

·       Proven track record of managing a team of specialist technicians

·       Experience with project reporting (cost reporting, progress reporting)

·       Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)

·       Advanced Time Scheduling Skills (MS Project)

·       Advanced Auto CAD Skills

Start of operation and place of work:

Now, near Sydney and other project locations in Australia and overseas

Salary:

Your salary will be based on Australian Law AUD100,000 - AUD110,000 depending on experience
