Customer Service Team Member – Building Products
Faststud is a family owned company that has been in operation since January 2003. We sell steel stud and track framing, ceiling systems, plasterboard, fibre cement, cladding systems, insulation and accessories to the commercial construction industry.
Our customer service team is highly valued and is critical for the continuing growth of our business. Faststud prides itself on delivering on time. You will be instrumental in providing a superior customer relationship and sales experience to our broad and varied customer base.
Duties
- Prompt and efficient processing of customer orders and timely follow-up to meet specified delivery dates
- Field new enquiries and provide support to sales team
- Price and quote on customer requirements within agreed parameters
- Maintain professional relationships with customers
- Complete various administrative tasks
- Raise purchase orders for both stock replenishment and order fulfilment.
- Delivery allocation and preparation of load delivery paperwork.
About You
- Fluent in English with clear telephone manner and good computer skills
- Experience in the building material supply industries would be an advantage
- Ability to manage customer enquiries both over the phone and face-to-face
- Flexibility to multi-task and work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Maturity and a sense of urgency
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer etiquette skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to speak Mandarin would be desirable but not a prerequisite
